Now very much enjoying this album, great tone, great vocals, love the whole mood, bought the vinyl. Favorite track: Self Architect.

agutterfan Imagine if 70s heavy rockers had come AFTER punk, a glorious mash-up of PIL, Section 25, Sonic Youth with indie rock and alt rock, and curiously very English. Just when you think you know what the next song's going to be like, they throw in 2.1 Woman with spoken word vocals from poet and artist Vivienne Griffin, and your (pre)conceptions are thrown out the window. Favorite track: 2.1 Woman.

I feel like I could have written this song while with my ex. It is so bitingly truthful, holding back none of the bitter reality of feelings that a toxic relationship establishes. The build up of vocalization is spitting, heartwrenching and really brings the lyrics to their fullest emotional potential. Can’t describe how much I love the juxtaposition of extremes recurring throughout this album, both lyrically and thematically. izze32
